Tim is an experienced litigator. Before joining our firm, Tim was a senior casualty attorney for Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman and Goggin, the largest insurance defense firm in the United States, and for Wicker, Smith, O'Hara, McCoy, Graham and Ford, one of the largest in Florida. In this capacity, Tim litigated multiple cases on behalf of Fortune 500 companies. Timothy's unique and valuable experience in defense litigation, and from years of working for insurance companies, puts him in an excellent position to now litigate cases against national companies and large insurance companies, such as State Farm Florida, against which Timothy has recently filed a class action lawsuit (click the following link for the Sun-Sentinel article: Serchay v. State Farm Florida).

Tim is a resident of Deerfield Beach, a graduate of Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center and a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger (3d Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment). In 2009, Tim was voted as a top “up and comer” attorney by Florida Trend Magazine.

Tim's practice includes the prosecution of automobile, truck, motorcycle and boat accidents, premises liability cases, construction site accident cases, maritime injuries, medical malpractice claims, class actions, products liability and Defense Base Act litigation.

In addition to the Florida Bar, Tim is admitted to the Federal Bar for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Palm Beach Justice Association, and the Broward County Bar Association.
